RICHMOND, Va. – A new dorm will be open to VCU upperclassmen by the Fall 2012, adding to the residential village surrounding Monroe Park. The dorm, built for about $30 million, will have 459 bed spaces.

One hundred of these beds will be reserved for students involved in a living and learning community that focuses on service projects in Richmond.

The dorm, on the corner of Grace and Shafer streets, will also have classrooms.  According to VCU, the price to live in this dorm will be around $8,000 a year, including all amenities.
