“Miss Black and Gold Pageant” winner describes her road to the crown

RICHMOND, Va — In their sixth annual “Miss Black and Gold Pageant” the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. crowned Chelsea Gary as the winner. This was her first pageant.


She also took home the title as Miss Talent and Miss Congeniality. Gary, a junior public relations major, was awarded a scholarship because she raised the most money between the eight contestants. 
As part of her title Gary is expected to be present a various fraternity campus events and forums. She will also compete in the regional “Miss Black and Gold Pageant.”
