RICHMOND, Va — Dr. Shawn Utsey, chair of African American Studies and psychology professor, premiered his second documentary “Until the Well Runs Dry: Medicine and the Exploitation of Black Bodies” on Nov. 11th.
Although the premiere was held at the Singleton Center on VCU’s Monroe Park campus, it was not exclusive for VCU students, faculty, and staff. Members of the Richmond community were heavy in attendance.
Since the first showing Dr. Utsey had another showing at the Richmond Public Library. He is also selling copies of the documentary to cover the cost of producing the film.
