VCU InSight for Oct. 23, 2015

October 23, 2015

Richmond’s Manchester area is seeing revitalization; construction of a traffic circle at an infamous area intersection; possibly moving a statue honoring fallen police officers; VCU police get body cams; monitoring young football players through a high-tech mouth guard; closing the William Byrd Community House; and a NASA scientist returns to her local high school. In-studio interviews with Micah “Bam Bamm” White, a local comedian with a new program to help inmates get business experience; and Will Gilbert, a VCU student (and VCU InSight student executive producer) heading to Qatar as part of an exchange program.
