Changes to Monroe Park could affect homeless

Some worry a future plan to revitalize VCU’s Monroe Park would affect the area’s homeless population. The park would be closed during construction, leaving the homeless that rely on the park for resources looking elsewhere. Shanique Yates reports.

VCU Builds New Dorm at Grace, Shafer

A new dorm will be open to VCU upperclassmen by the Fall 2012, adding to the residential village surrounding Monroe Park. The dorm, built for about $30 million, will have 495 bed spaces.
