Virginia ABC now allows restaurants to advertise happy hour

RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has decided to allow restaurants to advertise their happy hours after an 18 month long review. This regulation hasn’t been signed off by Gov. Bob McDonnell yet.

RICHMOND, Va. — While doing laundry in the basement of her Fan apartment, VCU senior, Chelsea Gantt, found a piece of history. Gantt discovered a letter that was originally written during World War one.

Confederate flag flown over I-95 raises controversy

Virginia Flaggers, a group of southerners who show pride for their heritage, have found a new spot to fly their Confederate flag. The 50-foot tall flag, which was raised Sept. 29 after a ceremony, can now be seen above I-95 near Chester.

VCU Library 2nd Floor Now ‘Learning Commons’
